On September 9, 2008, it was announced that Ensemble would be closing after the release of Halo Wars. According to multiple independent reports, all non-essential staff have been laid off and remaining staff have been given incentives to remain until the completion of the project.[10] Microsoft issued an internal statement on September 10, 2008 which was then leaked to the public.[11] As reported on the Ensemble Studio blog in late 2008, the company shut down on January 29, 2009.[12] It was also stated that there are at least two new studios being formed by ES employees.[13]

In February 2009 former Ensemble Studios head Tony Goodman started a new independent studio, Robot Entertainment, and a number of the existing employees have been offered a position in this company.[14] Following the announcement of Robot Entertainment, former Ensemble Studios producer David Rippy started a new independent studio, Bonfire Studios, comprised entirely of former Ensemble staff members.[15] In March 2009, a third studio, Windstorm Studios was announced, founded by ex-staffer Dusty Monk.[16] In May 2009, a fourth studio called Newtoy was created by several developers from Ensemble. Newtoy is already working on its first game for the iPhone.[17]

Tak to je skoda zes to vypl:( ta hra ma taky sve kouzlo. Jo a patche uz zase vychazi, jen misto ES je delaj RE.

ty resy to posrali ale jinak ta gameska nemusela bejt spatna skoda ze to posrali timhle :( ale jak rika archer asi tam toho bude vic ja to ale po deseti minutach vypnul kvuli tomu noseni...

no spíš je to o tom, že trojky kvůli novejm civkám jsou nevybalancovaný a žádný patche se už nedělaj a stím přidáním nových civek to šlo akorát do kopru.

a stím težením je to přesně jak píše johny nemusíš nikam nosit resy a přibývají ti automaticky když někde sekáš dřevo nebo kucháš srnku což je dost nerealistický a dost to snižuje hodnotu tý hry třeba tohle fakt nechápu a najde se toho tam rozhodně víc.

URcite si poslechnu nazor nekoho, kdo se v aoe2 vyzna vic :) tak mi hod to icq, ja ho u tebe v profilu nevidim:( To mne prijde v aoe3 map control dulezitejsi naopak, mozne ne zrovna u toho reva, ale tak vseobecne, tam treba nejdes hned tak do farem
